U.S. Social Forum - June 2010

Join with Innate Healing Center to participate and support the U.S. Social Forum activities. Innate Healing will work with local friends for health and healing. The forum related events will be four days: June 22 - 26, 2010.

Playing Jazzy, New Age, Trance World Music on drums, flutes, saxes & ethnic woodwinds

Also Dr. Bob and his vibrational healing crystal bowls followed by a community drum circle.

A special night welcoming summer solstice. Arrive early at 6 p.m. for the vegetarian cafe.

Sundays, 11 to 4 - Join us for Sunday Brunch for a vegan brunch. Features include scrambled tofu with curry, tempeh sage potatoes, vegan crepes, and fresh squeezed orange juice.

Yes, you read it right -- Bunny Healing.

Innate Healing Center is the home of three gorgeous Flemish bunny rabbits....along with assorted chickens, roosters, Greystorm the cat, and Rufus.

Healing by bunny? You bet! Ask any cat or dog owner how a pet-friend can expand one's heart and capacity to love and care.

These graceful creatures on the planet remind us to play, cuddle, play, groom, play, survive, laugh, and play! And as you probably know, love, joy, laughter, and community is what heals all of us. So stop by to check out our fabulous Flemish bunny friends at Innate Healing Arts Center.

Excerpts from the film, "Who Framed Roger Rabbit:"

Eddie Valiant: You crazy rabbit! I'm out there risking my neck for you, and what are you doing? Singing and dancing!

Roger Rabbit: But I'm a toon. Toons are supposed to make people laugh.

Eddie Valiant: Sit down!

Roger Rabbit: You don't understand. Those people needed to laugh.

Eddie Valiant: Then when they're done laughing, they'll call the cops. That guy Angelo would rat on you for a nickel.

Roger Rabbit: Not Angelo. He'd never turn me in.

Eddie Valiant: Why? Because you made him laugh?

Roger Rabbit: That's right! A laugh can be a very powerful thing. Why, sometimes in life, it's the only weapon we have.

Roger Rabbit: P-p-please, Eddie! Don't throw me out. Don't you realize you're making a big mistake? I didn't kill anybody. I swear! The whole thing's a set up. A scam, a frame job. Ow! Eddie, I could never hurt anybody. Oow! My whole purpose in life is to make... people... laugh!

Every Wednesday night Golden Gate Cafe is proud to host a drum circle.

Drum circle begins 9 p.m. so bring a drum and join the fun!
